Maranatha Church was born in late 1994 from a Bible fellowship of likeminded believers who had been congregating for mutual support since 1989. From its inception, Maranatha Church has been a house church where through earnest prayer, serious examination of Scripture, heartfelt praise, and intimate ministry we have endeavored to encourage one another in the discipleship of Jesus Christ.
Our governmental organization is presbyterian – a body of elders directs the affairs of the church. Doctrinally, we could be characterized as evangelical, fundamentalist charismatics who are earnest about proclaiming the Gospel both at home and abroad. For those who are interested in a more in-depth description of our philosophy of ministry or the actual structure of our meetings, please refer to our audio resources The Multigenerational Church: Families Worshipping God Together and A House of Prayer for All Peoples: Rediscovering the Process and Purpose of the Church Service.
Nikolas Larum is the current pastor of Maranatha Church. He has served in that capacity since its inception.
